It was put to the test right out of the box . I had a complete deer to grind and make sausage and it never missed a beat . It has good power and doesnt bog down . The only downfall i see is the non reversible blade . Easy clean up and decent metal parts no plastic.

The grinder was damaged right out of the box. The motor was dislodged inside the body, the power cord was entangled in the cooling fan (quite dangerous), and the front plate was badly scratched. With a motor as powerful as it is, perhaps the manufacturer would be wise to spend a couple of extra bucks on a well-constructed metal body instead of a cheap plastic one.
