I purchased a few sets of these lights several years ago, but didn't keep the receipt. They lasted well through harsh Wisconsin winters, and terrible summer storms. Some of the lights stopped working over time, so when we built a new deck I bought several new sets - and kept the receipts this time! I love the look and durability of these lights. They're heavy duty lights but still look so pretty. I used a smart plug and have them set to turn on/off each evening. I think a dimmer would be nice, so I could turn them down for a little softer light at times. I've seen where others have gotten plugs that give them that option but just haven't explored that yet.

I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of these lights. They are my go-to for the restaurant patios. I make sure I purchase the Vintage or Soft versions though. Originals are bright, but you may need that. Customer service is great too. Lifetime warranty for the ones that go out. My only wish is that the individual lights could be replaced.

The most beautiful string lights I ever had. The only downside is a thick heavy cable. I realize it was designed to expand the sections, but it still, weighs too much and looks too massive.
