Pros:
I've used it already to test resistance, capacitance, amperage and voltage. It seems to be working well and with ample accuracy at least for the electrical and light electronic needs I've had so far.
The rubber case bumper seems a good feature to have for field work bumps and scrapes.
The display is clear and easy to read.
The build quality seems good.
Cons:
I wish the LCD backlight stayed on longer before it timed out...and/or had a switch to keep it on.
I wish the rubber case had a clip to better manage the cables of the test leads.
I would have liked to pay a bit more for some included clip on test leads with capacity similar to the included probes.

Very good for the money. Great features and accuracy seems good compared to my $200 and $1000 Flukes. This would make a very good starter meter or even a good field meter. I am keeping as a spare myself and giving them to my solar and wind clients as part of their training. The auto features make it a good choice for a less experienced tech. Back-light is very good. Continuity is a good feature and not available on all meters. Proximity voltage is a rare feature on any meter, but it is iffy on this unit. I will still use my other equipment for that. Temp probe is a nice extra. Build quality is good. All in all, very good for the money. I will buy it again.

One of four ordered did not work due to a faulty lead. I did not open the box for a month after receiving them because they were planned for my course at the university. I contacted the seller (soon after 1 month after receiving them) but received no reply. There was no other way to return the item through Amazon. If you order, test the multimeter as soon as you receive it.

For $22, this thing is the greatest! For my purposes, it has been as useful as a 10 times more expensive meter.

My first rule was that I'm never again buying a meter that doesn't have auto-shutoff, because I am really tired of finding my meter dead after I haven't used it for a while. So it's good there. (My next best meter also has auto-shutoff, but beeps annoyingly to warn me that it's going to shut off. I just don't care!)

I checked it against the nice ($350) Fluke meters (175 and 179) we have at work, and it reads 0.001 volts to 0.003 volts higher than they do (0.001v high at 1v up to 0.003 at 100v, quite consistent) which is surprisingly accurate. That's for DC, similar results for AC. The resistance measurements are basically identical to the Flukes. The included thermocouple has been fun. I haven't tried the voice features, and I also haven't opened it up to see if the high voltage isolation is safe, but just an accurate 4 digit auto-ranging multimeter that shuts itself off, for $22 is an awesome deal. I think I just talked myself into buying another one.

I like this meter a lot (Smart V). I make videos as electronzap/electronzapdotcom aimed at people just beginning electronics and having the meter autorange practically everything makes it a lot easier to explain what I am doing and I am sure makes electronics far less intimidating to many people interested in electronics. Capacitor, frequency measurement, temperature and non contact voltage detector are all also really nice features. I don't want to take the time to try to explain series capacitance or the varying results of some circuits due to the unknown amount of tolerance of common capacitors in detail by using math alone, so having a meter that quickly displays a truer capacitance in situation like those has been really nice. I have also been using the temperature readings from this meter to quickly show temperature differences of different components under the same voltage/current conditions whereas I see most people rely on only math. At the current price of about $21 I think this is about as good of a meter as you can get for the price and is a great meter overall for anyone who just needs a general purpose meter.
