I bought this lamp for a gift for my son. He loves it. The only little issue is the bulb. It doesn't come with one. I got one but I'm not sure if it was the best one because it's kinda dim.

I just got my lamp yesterday morning and love it. Unlike many others that are apparently made in China, My lamp is as pictured with a pipe base that says USA. However, there is a sticker on the box that says Made in China. I'm so impressed with the item that I just ordered another one. Hopefully, it will be of the same quality because I will be using them together as a set.
I have a flame-effect bulb in it. It will be beautiful at night! This lamp is well made; a little crooked but not enough to ruin the appearance. It isn't noticeable unless you're looking for imperfections, but I think it adds to the charm. This is not a poorly manufactured piece. It's quality-constructed and should provide years of enjoyment. I won't be using the dimmer function with flame-effect bulbs, but I'm pleased to have that option.

I am pleased with this lamp for the price of purchase. I think that it looks great. I use it with Philips Hue Edison-style bulb. I will say that depending on the bulb, the lamp may be too bright. I leave the Hue bulb dimmed to 20%. If I had the bulb at 100% then it wouldn't be usable as a side table lamp. The lamp does have a dimmer, but might not be enough for an Edison-style LED lightbulb. Pay attention to how many lumens the lightbulb has. These are just some practical considerations. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

This is a fun lamp with lots of character. Used on a nightstand with a tubular edison filament LED bulb and it's perfect. It has both a dimmer dial on the cord and a turn knob on the bulb socket "” which remembers the dimmer position and turns the light back on at that level. I really like that dual switching feature. Seems well made, and fun old-world industrial look.
P.S. I got the Bonlux Dimmable LED T10 Tubular Filament Bulb E26 Base 120V 6W in Warm White, and it fits and dims well. Some typical bulb shapes might be too wide.
