Very nice slim profile EDC knife.

For something I carry with me on a daily basis, I ordinarily like to see and feel something in my own hands before purchasing it. This knife was an exception.
I read and watched many reviews of this product before ordering it, so I felt confident that it is a quality product. So confident, in fact, while unboxing the knife in front of a friend, I quickly disassembled it do demonstrate its ease of operation. Upon reassembling it, I ran into a problem and had trouble locking the release lever. It took me a few minutes of fidgeting, though I finally figured out that the Torx/star screw was not fully tightened that holds the small shaft that the blade pivots on. An easy fix, although a small QC mistake that almost resulted in me returning the product.
Knife has a very nice slim profile that fits nicely in my pocket. Sometimes don't even remember it being there. Four stars given for the blade steel already showing small rust blemishes, and the QC issue.

have many crkt knives and generally think they're great value. i was expecting
this knife to at least be able to flip open, but not this one. no amount of force would
get it much past half open. so after disassembly and loosening the pivot screw, it
will flip nicely. but to get it to that stage, the teflon washers do allow a small amount
of flex when open. not much, but it's there. to get the disassembly lever to work at
all, the tiny retaining screws have to be quite loose. they are held in place by the
teflon washer, so they're not in danger of falling out, but not ideal. if i keep this knife,
it's because it does have the unique ability to be taken apart. it does fit nicely in the
hand and the cool factor is big. haven't decided if it's gonna stay or not.

Crkt made an awesome field/ easy to maintain knife with this thing. Instead of having to wait to get home want with your tools to take your knife apart to maintain it, you can just take it apart in 3 seconds and put it back together in another. Whenever I get caught in the rain instead of having to worry about hard to reach areas getting rusted or damaged now I can simply pop it apart dry all areas and put it back together.
Couldn't be simpler and the addition of it being a flipper is just another bonus. Knocked it out of the park with this one!

I love this knife!!!

I love this knife!!! One of my biggest problems with PREVIOUS folding knives was the lint build up and routine care. It's always been too much of a pain in the butt to disassemble other knives. Either the intricacies of the other knives made this too challenging of a task, or it required special tools or bits for disassembly. This knife design removes all those issues from the equation. The ability to field strip the knife without any tools ensures that my knife is always clean and free of debris. Add a touch of oil and Bob's your uncle! The construction of the knife is extremely impressive, especially for the price. The blade is thick and solid and they didn't add unnecessary girth in the handle. Perfect knife for every day carry (EDC). Well played CRKT... Well played indeed.
It feels like a toy

EDIT: 2 weeks later and the blade and field strip mechanism have loosened up nicely, and now that I have used it the light weight makes more sense. It is very sturdy, just lighter than average. Good knife.
Got this today so time will tell how it holds up. My only complaint is that it feels too light weight to take seriously. It feels like a toy. There is no heft to the handle and I feel like if I drop it the handle might break. Field strip is nice, though a little stiff on mine. Really had to squeeze it to get it back together. Hopefully it will break in with some use. Blade seems to be quality, very sharp. Time will tell whether this advances to a 5 star review or drops to a 2 star review.
