Nice but could be better

I love that these lights are flexible and easy to wrap but they get tangled very easily. I also liked that there are multiple settings and options including a timer and remote but the batteries don't last very long. They are also a bright white, I would have preferred a soft white light and they are nearly seizure inducing when they are on the flashing setting. I would take a picture but the batteries have died again. The nice part about the remote it that these can be placed up high or down low and you don't have to climb or crawl to turn them on, but the batteries drain so quickly you end up climbing and crawling anyhow. So I would recommend these for short term uses. Not great for holiday decorations, unless you want to take them apart to replace the batteries every week.

I have ordered four sets of these. Their remote capabilities are wonderful. You get two strings of lights and two remotes that do not require their own batteries. Any one remote will work them all. Helpful Hints: Put your batteries in first. Inside the case there is a tiny cylindrical button. Press it and keep pressing until you get the flash mode you like. Then turn it off. Very carefully unravel the wire. It's long so you can avoid tangling by wrapping the wire around the battery case once you've unraveled enough wire. Do not think you can remove the wire from your decoration, such as wreaths, without needing nerve pills. Once wound, the wire wants to stay wound. Simply remove the batteries and store your decoration with the lights attached.

They're perfect for our mosquito net/bed canopy! Depending on what you prefer it has about 8 different settings as well as controls to increase/decrease the strength of the bulb brightness. Two minor complaints: one of the remotes didn't work, but we were able to use the other one for both and, man...it does eat up the batteries, even if you only use them at night. Best to buy a battery recharger and rechargeable batteries, which we all should be doing for the environment anyway.
Oh and take good care of them. Don't be idiots like us and have it in a place where it can get kicked around or pulled up...which is why I'm buying more. Because I'm an idiot. The bright side is, I am happy enough with them to buy them again!
