I don't think so !!!

These are a waste of time...
I have been looking for other earmuffs that will filter more sound because I don't like using earplugs with earmuffs at the range when the shooters next to me use high caliber rounds like .308 Win, 338 Lapua, 50BMG etc.
I jumped on these earmuffs when I saw they SNR/NRR 34db rating they claim.
I don't think this is true.
Earmuffs are also very uncomfortable to wear because of the very hard surround they used.
I have been using Howard Leigh for 4 years which are rated at NRR23, and a new 3M Peltor that I just bought from wallyworld. And I can say these ones filter/dampen the noise a lot better.
I also asked my kids to try the ProForShow against my other earmuffs and they all said the same negative things...
Pros: NONE - NADA - ZILTCH !
Cons:
1. Ear surrounds are very hard
2. Feels very cheap
3. Looks very cheap
4. Does not filter sound as good as my other earmuffs (look at pics I uploaded)
Thanks Pro For Sho for wasting my time !

Best thing that ever happened to my work!

I bought these because my co-workers are noisy and I needed to concentrate. (To be honest, I was kind of trying to be obnoxious about it.) I never knew how noisy my environment was until I put these on! It's so much easier to do productive work when I'm not dealing with noise.
The product blocks out just enough noise. I can still hear my phone when it rings. I can hear when there are people having conversations around me, but the earmuffs block out enough to keep it from being distracting. They're not excessively tight on my ears or my head. I'm really happy with these and I think every cube farmer should have one.

I received them 5 days ago. I'm disappointed with the product. I've been using ear muffs for about half the time of the last 17 years at work, so I've worn a lot of them. They are very tight around the head, but I expect them to loosen with time. The problems are that the ear cushions are very very firm which I don't think they are sealing as well as they should, and the foam inserts are too big and have been overstuffed. I've included pictures after having sat on the table for 5 days and the foam has not settled. The tactile feel of the material is good though. I had my wife try them on and she agreed these were subpar and uncomfortable as well.
I tested them against just using my hands and a set of Beats over the ear headphones. Theses ear muffs do no better in noise isolation as compared to my hand or the Beats.
I will be returning these ear muffs and purchasing different ones as I feel this is a poorly made product, subpar to others, and have poor QC control.

Bought these for my family for the shooting range but they got their first use at a Monster Jam arena event. I was curious as to how well these worked so i did a comparison by switching out my ear plugs with these muffs and was pleasantly surprised as to how well they worked. Very confident that my kids ears are safe while wearing these ear muffs. Definitely worth the money.

This product is a life saver. My son suffers from noise sensitivity, so it makes it extremely difficult to take him to children's events. Most recently we took him to see Jurassic Quest in Allentown to see mechanical dinosaurs. At first my 3 year old was verified from the noise, but once we slipped the Ear Protection on, he was a completely different child. He went from tense and fearful to relaxed and investigatory, I actually cried a little because I finally found something that allowed my child to enjoy events that other children his age enjoyed without be disabled by his noise sensory issues. I love them and would recommend them to everyone and anyone who has children with noise sensory issues!
