I received this a couple days ago and I was so excited to try it out. All of the OBD features worked as expected and I was very quickly able to determine why my check engine light had gone off and that my Civic had an issue with the VTEC transmission. Though this was crappy news, my local Honda dealership was able to fix it within 24 hours :) I don't know much about cars, but my friend recommended getting one of these and I'm glad I went with this one.

So I've heard of these types of diagnostic devices before and looked into them but never really pulled the trigger. I was always so busy that it was just easier to take the car to the mechanic. Well as luck would have it just last week I had a check engine light on my Ford Mustang and when I dropped it off to the mechanic he said it was an issue with an o2 sensor that would be a few hundred to replace. Not exactly wanting to spend that much I decided to take a chance on this device. So I bought it and wow was it easy to use. Plug and play right in and I could see the issue. Not an o2 sensor issue at all but in fact my carburetor went. I was so angry I took the car to a different mechanic and had it properly fixed. Saved me money.

It's my first time using this kind of product on my car, and this is an amazing product. I love the LCD screen with the easy guidelines. It's fast and easy to navigate, and very convenient to use. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a vehicle, as long as it's compatible. The best part about it is that this thing has a built-in code library so I don't have to go on google to search these things. I can just find out what's going on on the spot, which is pretty darn convenient. I no longer need to go to the car shop to find out what's wrong with my check engine light!!
