I was specifically looking for an affordable 6" to 7" folding pocket knife with a sheepsfoot or tanto blade and a few extras for EDC, and this one hits all the marks. For reference, my EDC needs include opening boxes (cuz I love buying stuff), opening food packaging (cuz I love eating stuff), opening bottles (cuz I love drinking stuff), and maybe the occasional gross thing like picking my nails (but don't tell anyone).

The Breakdown:
- The color in the picture doesn't do it justice. Sophisticated, but subtle.
- Nice and weighty (86g) but not too heavy as to impede functionality.
- Very smooth action. I don't think I've ever owned a folding knife that felt this buttery.
- Hex drivers and a glass breaker are perfect little extras (who doesn't need to bust out a car window every now and then?), but the bottle opener is the real win here. Super subtly placed in the spine of the blade and only accessible when the knife is closed.
- The blade came razor sharp, but both edges of the tanto tip had to be completely redone due to burrs and incredibly rough edges.

The Bottom Line:
I'm incredibly impressed with this knife, and, for the price I paid, I consider this a steal. If it had come to me completely dull, still would have probably given this 5 stars. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I'm sure I'll have no issues keeping the blade sharp (since I do jack-all with my knives), but I am curious to see how well the edge holds up over time.
Fine for light use but not an EDC

Bought this looking for a versatile multitool like knife. I always hate that the knife seems secondary on a real multitool and bulges like crazy in a pocket (or makes you look like a weirdo with something on your belt). Mine had the saw piece with it. The saw makes it bulky in my pocket, which is to be expected and surprisingly, it still fits in my hand but from there the good news is slim. I'll go piece by piece.

-The window breaker is super sharp and I kept pricking myself with it whenever I fished in my pocket to get it out. For kicks, I tried it on an old phone with tempered glass, and it worked well.

-I never tried the wrench piece but it is built similarly to others I have used and liked.

-The saw came sharp and with one stroke, I got about 1/8 inch into a live oak branch so I'm going to call it good. I cannot comment on it's longevity.

-The knife. It's a cool shape but that's about it. It came out of the box reasonably sharp but not something you could shave with. I cut a piece of an Amazon box and CLICK snapped a small piece off of it. Sharpening took quite a few strokes, but I was able to get it sharper and remove the chip. It turns out that this knife is a chinese stainless steel 8Cr14MoV. You don't need to be a chemist or metallurgist because I will broad strokes it for you. This kind of stainless steel (I've read stuff like this called "alphabet soup steel") is fairly hard, almost rust proof and chips like the devil. You'll find other reviews that confirm this but I was shocked at how easily I could chip it. Because it's stainless steel, it takes quite a few more passes to sharpen it back up.

My other gripe about the knife is although it comes with a thumb notch that is well placed, I had trouble getting enough purchase to open this one handed. That goes even more so for the saw's thumbnail notch. I almost broke my nail trying to open the knife and I often had to put the knife in one hand and pry with the other to get the knife in place. I was able to loosen the screw that holds them in place a bit to make the action easier, and it took well.

On the start of week two, I don't know how but the belt clip snapped off. I cut my hand reaching for it and realized that it had popped off while I was at the grocery store. I keep my pocket knifes in my pocket, but clipped to the edge so I can reach it easily without looking like I'm playing pocket pool. I never heard it snap and I didn't brush up against anything hard to my knowledge so I have no idea what happened there. A T6 (I think) screw driver helped me remove the sharp remains of the belt clip.

Lastly, the lock for the saw is great but the knife, not so much. With the knife, you have to pull it all the way out and force it a bit to get the lock in place. I can't tell you how many times in the week or so I've used this reliably that I thought I had it fully extended only to have it almost chop my fingers. When you look at it in a locked position, it's almost impossible to see how much of the knife is being locked into place, so I'm wondering that a decent smack might pop it out of the lock. I'm not brave enough to try.

The bottom line is, if you need something to keep in your glove box or in a bag to use in an emergency, this might do the trick but don't fool yourself into thinking it's a reliable EDC knife. It's not.
Pls reply :'( (THET DID)

I'm giving this knife 3 stars because while I love the knife, I hate waiting very long. Lemme explain, I got this knife on time, I love everything about it but while working I snagged the pocket clip on something at work and it snapped on me. I contacted Kubey a couple weeks ago to see if I can get a replacement and even said I was willing to pay for it. I haven't heard anything back so while I love the knife, i hate the long wait for a yes or no on if I can get a replacement part.

EDIT:
SO Kubey finally got back to me even thought it took a bit and may I say. Customer service. Friendly as can be. They didn't have any pocket clips to give me but they one upped it and sent me TWO free replacement knives! You really can't beat that! I'll most likely just keep one for replacement parts and give the other to a friend but damn, I'm really happy with this outcome. Five stars
Great work knife at a price that let's you abuse it.

I've been using this knife as my work pocket knife for a few months now and I'm very happy with it. The chisel ground edge is adequate for all normal cutting tasks and the "tanto" style point holds up well for prying. It's not great for cleaning finger nails, but you shouldn't use a knife for that anyway.

The price point is also a great aspect of this knife. You can really use and abuse it and not feel bad about replacing it. Of course, it's a pretty durable pocket knife so it holds up well.

The glass breaker did work well when I had the opportunity to use it, but I'd be surprised if anyone actually uses the small wrench section on the side. It's easy to take apart and put back together if you have the right tools. I recommend it for daily use if you need a pocket knife for light to medium work. It's not an expensive knife, but the truth is 99% of the time it's a waste to have some high end knife when this one will do.
Excellent working tool for the money.

This is an excellent work knife for the money. The tip is designed with three cutting edges and makes an excellent scraper. The rear of the knife has a scribe in the shape of a glass breaker and is described as such, but it's actually a scribe though it could easily double as a glass breaker. The scales are aluminum, but comfortable. The bushings are bronze instead of the Teflon junk flooding the market nowadays and that's a big plus in a using knife.
