As a renter, it's usually best if you don't have an excessive number of holes to patch in your walls. I can place power strips and so many other items on the walls or where ever they are needed in seconds, versus several minutes of making holes, cleaning up the dust etc.

I've tried mounting a 3 pound welcome sign on our front door with 1, then 2, then 3 hooks, and still the Florida heat wins. Won't hold up outdoors, but indoors these work beautifully!
