Poor manual, poor quality
bill wagner•March 11, 2018
As stated earlier, serious errors in the "manual". Calling it that is a misnomer because it is a joke. Didn't work properly out of the box. It gave a fault code on the LCD panel which I have to guess is a fuse blown warning, I have to guess because the "manual" is worthless. Fuse covers snapped right off as stated in other reviews. I checked all fuses which showed continuity so back to Amazon this one goes.
I'd have to say avoid this manufacturer.

User manual needs work
Douglas B. McKay•February 6, 2018
First thing out of the box, I opened the fuse covers to check their values and two of them snapped right off. No big deal, but brittle plastic covers aren't a good sign.
Haven't hooked it up yet (will update this soon), but wanted to point out that there are some SERIOUS errors in the manual that came with mine. I posted a pic of the page with the following two issues: The usage time table doesn't take into account that they recommend a maximum 50% depth of discharge and the formula for calculating usage time uses incorrect variables. It should use WH, not AH and "loadgeneralpower/DC" should be "power draw in watts" to match their table heading. Also the diagrams showing how to connect two or more batteries are backwards (Series vs. Parallel). On the next page, they say that it has "Reverse polarity protection" but in Problem Causes table, it says "NOTE: Reversing the polarity may cause irreversible damage to the circuit."

Used them in Puerto Rico
DudeFromFlorida•January 23, 2018
I sent two of these to my parents in Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria left them without electricity. The inverters performed perfectly. Used them to run a refrigerator, temporary lights and to recharge flashlight batteries. Power is now back on and these are now safely stored in case of another emergency.
