It has most of the tools that you need in order to complete a fiber termination (minus the connectors). I feel like if it has a good set of Kevlar scissors then it would have everything. I ended up using prepolished connectors (about 10-15 bucks a connector) and it works great for that. Seeing as it is my first time terminating this kit worked like a champ. I would buy this again in a heart beat.

So I have never worked with fiber before. I ran a 100 meter cable from my house to my outbuilding on my property so I could have internet and phone out there. During the run I broke one of the SC ends off when pulling it through conduit.
To my surprise the profession kits will run over $1K just to put an end back on. I decided it was worth it to try a cheap kit out before trying to call someone to do the job, so I bought this one.
The cleaver worked fine. The stripper takes some patience. It took me a a dozen tries to strip both fiber wires and clean them without breaking one of them. I almost bought a new stripper to see if maybe the stripper was the issue.
My one issue is the instructions to adjust the cleaver are in Chinese. You can watch YouTube to get a feel for making adjustments, I did not have to.
I did end up buying a pair of Teflon scissors to cut the hairs in the conduit.
I would 100% recommend Fast Connect Fiber connectors. Amazon does not carry these.

It works great, but there are a few things to be aware of.

First, the cleaver works great. I have terminated 6 fiber runs with it now(5 are 6 strand OM3 and one is a 12 strand 10Gb) and all my ends passed with flying colors. The instructions are no help, so you need to know how to operate one of these cleavers and be familiar with how long a cleave length in mm you need for your chosen ends and so forth. Having said that, I had no trouble and got all of mine right the first time. I did have an issue with the fiber stripping tool which is rather simple and somewhat crude for its intended purpose. I was able to practice on a spare strand of fiber and was able to adjust them to where I got a good strip, but as I continued I just didn't like the feel. This step is a critical part in the procedure and I didnt like monkeying around here, so I purchased a pair of strippers for around $60 right off Amazon which made a point of saying in the description that they were precision adjusted for the sizes spec'd and they worked great everytime. I just trashed the set that came with this kit no problem. All in all, I am confident in this product and have very little invested in it. Very Pleased.

Works great, I didn't realize it doesn't capture the cut off fiber ends and there were pieces all over the table.. when I went to clean up, I got 2 in my hand... that was a hard "user error" to learn.. so the product works great , I just needed to go slower and collect the fiber cut off pieces
