It didn't function like it said, the legs moved independently after being snapped into place and the left stop for the computer didn't snap into place. I was going to send it back, but the Dealer gave it to me along with a refund, a new desk and a free gift. TEK is a very gracious dealer. What I really loved about the first one was how smooth the surface was and how well my mouse moved on its surface. It slants in several positions. I will say this to any buyer of TEK Products the company will definitely treat you right and make every effort to work with you, they are great!

I use my laptop in the living room on the coffee table that is only 1.5 feet off the floor. I needed something so I wasn't hunched over. I've got this table set at its lowest height (putting it 2' 4" off the ground when on my coffee table). which is great for my eyes, but I have to reach up a bit to type. Being able to tilt the table forward helps that some. There is enough room for the laptop and mouse, but I'd prefer that the section holding the mouse were set a few inches lower. I'm being picky. The table is sturdy, doesn't slip and had a nice rubber pad for your hand/wrist. It is a bit obtrusive and I'd store it in a closet if anyone were to come over.
