  • STAINLESS STEEL LOCKING BLADE: The nearly 3" blade firmly locks in place and is made with stainless steel so it won't rust.
  • BEAUTIFUL COMFORTABLE HANDLE: The handle is made of genuine Rosewood with a Satin finish that makes it elegant while providing a good grip.
  • NOT JUST FOR GARDENING: The curved hawkbill blade has hundreds of daily uses including cutting linoleum, vinyl, carpet, rope, and zip ties. It makes a great box cutter or a beautiful wine foil cutter. It is also great for carving and whittling.

Hard to close.

It's a beautiful knife, I really wanted it but I'm 63 and my hands aren't as strong as they were, so I was unable to press the release and close the knife. I gave it to my son, he's a linesman and said it would be perfect for cutting wire.

went to class on grafting and the knife just didn't work.
Excellent garden tool

This is a handy little knife and not just for grafting. It opens into a fixed blade so you have to push on the spot on the bottom to release it to close it again which is a very nice safety feature. It's also very attractive with the wood handle and brass pins. I like how the blade is both wide and curved so I can use it for harvesting, slicing up cardboard boxes for mulch, etc. It fits nicely in my pocket so I can have it handy for all sorts of things. Looks to be easy to sharpen as needed. As a woman with small hands, I appreciate the shape and size of this knife for grafting. It's comfortable to hold and easy to use in cutting a scion, which isn't usually very easy for me to do. This is an excellent garden tool!
Nice all-around gardening tool; great for opening bags and collapsing boxes

This is a nice quality knife. I ordered the garden shears and this showed up as a recommended purchase so I had a look at it. It comes nicely packaged with a note about maintenance and that says a little about Truly Garden (I like that they're veteran-owned). I don't use it for grafting, I use it for harvesting herbs and for trimming back tomato plants, etc. One thing I was surprised to figure out is how useful it is to open up those big plastic bags of manure and potting soil. The curved blade makes it easier to take down cardboard boxes than a straight blade...never realized that until now!
