Just now I used it to eliminate an error code for my 2014 Toyota Sienna. It's very easy to use. And very pretty, If you have an old car, you will need it very much.
This obd2 scanner is a must have for all the DIYer.This is a keeper in my toolbox.

Hi,I was working on my 2002 Toyota Tacoma valve cover gaskets.But after I finished the job and start up the engine.My check engine light came on and engine rpm goes high rpm.Good thing that I have this TRYACE obd 2 scanner on hand.I plug the obd2 connector to my tacoma on board diagnostic port,and select the I/M function then it display my trouble code P0505. within few minutes I found the problem. I forget to plugin the idle air control solenoid ,once I plug the connector back,everything goes normal. Then I use this obd2 scanner to erase the code, then test drive,let the truck on board computer do the self monitors test.It all set good. A PIECE OF CAKE.well done .This obd2 scanner is a must have for all the DIYer.This is a keeper in my toolbox.Thanks
