I've only used my 40lb weight once to do dumbbell swings. It was a bit oily and slippery. I'm not quite sure why. I'm going to try and see if I can take the slickness off somehow because I felt like it was going to slip from my grip at any second. . Quality looks good though.

It's a 15 pd weight, not more to say on that, but the smell is awful and the grip is greasy. I'm sure the smell will dissipate and I can wipe off the grease but it's still annoying.

These are fantastic and feel like they're made good quality. As other people mentioned they are oily when you first receive them but if you clean them off it's no big deal. They are a good price and I will buy more size soon.
