Great little grinder. To small for big jobs but handles 5 - 10 lbs of meat pretty quickly. I had an aluminum grinder that didn't do well in the dishwasher. Stainless steel is a game changer for me!

I was hesitant to purchase at such a premium price due to mixed reviews saying the product wasn't 100% dishwasher safe and/or certain parts were not stainless as this was my main buying motivation.
Took the gamble and am pleased with the quality and results.
I have used and washed (in dishwasher) several times now and it has performed exactly as advertised.
The interior auger does have a texture to it and is not smooth stainless but Is still S.S.
No oxidation or rust, just as you should expect when paying for the stainless steel model.
Worth the premium price for a premium product.

I've run about 100# of meat through this grinder now. The quality of this package is good, and perfect for the hobby sausage maker. The blades have stayed sharp, the auger fits securely in the socket of my kitchen aid, and it works great overall. The unit is dishwasher safe, which is a really nice feature for sanitation.
I'm going to be upgrading to a purpose built grinder though, because grinding meat is way too hard on the kitchen aid, even only doing 2-5lb batches at a time - so beware, if you plan grind more than occasionally, it's probably worth it to just get a real grinder.
