My 3 yr old daughter has some sensitivities to sound and she uses headphones at school. We ordered these and she is able to regulate herself much better with them if the blender or the vacuum is going.
They don't eliminate the sound completely but make it a more manageable level for her and she can still hear us if we are talking to her.

We have 4 pairs of these(1 for each member of the family) that we bought 3 years ago. We first bought them for Monster Jam. They muffle the sound of the engines very well, but we can still speak to one another with them on and can still hear the announcers. We haven't been to Monster Jam in 2 years(because of COVID-19) but we have continued to use these a lot. I use a pair when I mow the grass and when I go to the shooting range. I usually like to wear a pair of the small squishy earplugs with them at the shooting range...but almost everyone I know and go with does the same(2 forms of ear protection at the same time). One of our kids has sensory sensitivities and likes to use these when the school has pep rallies and other loud events. We even just kept a pair in the backpack for school events. He even sleeps with a pair on when we have stormy weather. They are so reasonably priced that if they get lost, then they can be replaced without parting with a large sum of money.
They are adjustable for various ages. The earpieces slide down to accommodate adults and slide back up to be shorter for kids. The comfort is overall very good. I have worn a pair for a couple hours and they really didn't bother me much at all. They are available in several colors and patterns, so that is nice to have a choice in style.
I would purchase these again(of we need more) for sure. The quality, durability, comfort, noise protection and value are top notch!

I struggle with crowds, especially at church on Sunday. These are great to quiet things down and feel less chaotic. You can still hear people talking directly to you, and it's much easier to concentrate on one single conversation with these on.

Without them it feels like everything is the same volume. Great for my autism.

A little tight to wear with my glasses, but I think I'll get used to that. Not so tight it hurts, just a little uncomfortable.

I was so very impressed with how well these worked. I just did a review for an infant style earmuffs, so this will be similar. We took our 5yr old to a WWE show and didn't want to loud sounds to startle her. She also would have fallen asleep. The crowd was active, music was loud and pyrotechnics were in full blast. These deafened the sounds so well. The blasts startled me and my husband but slept through half the show. AS long as they are positioned/adjusted correctly they are comfortable. The unicorn design made he excited about wearing them. She was able to enjoy the show, hear our instructions and sleep when needed. If you are debating about these, I recommend getting them. They did not disappoint me.

Be aware that we ordered the Red & Black option and the red is not RED. It's orangy.
The product works great though. No issues
