I got this as a pocket charm/worry stone type of thing. The idea of it eventually showing wear in the way I handle it is fun, and it's the perfect size for this use. It's not even been 24hrs and it's already starting to darken.

It appears to be fine copper. I purchased several and cut into one of them to find that the bar is copper all the way through. It is priced WELL above the price-per-ounce of copper, but it's not outrageous considering the quality of the cast. Useful as a teaching tool, as the periodic table entry for Cu is part of the bar. Currently using these as interesting paperweights when not using them for teaching purposes.

Ok, so I don't understand the warmth feature for this item, it was cold outside when it arrived, so it was cold as Copper is a good conductor of heat energy. Very nice finish, uniform thickness, looks nice in my vase, is much less expensive than the items designed for the purpose, and I bet it will start a lot more conversations than a copper heart in with my flowers.
