these light are amazing. they have a very color too them. the app is great. I like how you can set the lighting for the time of day. what is cool is you colors can be set to change automatically which is really cool. if you have more then 1 or more of the same lights you can merge all lights together on the app.

I was recently introduced to this style of lighting. Bought a large one for my 45 gallon show tank and liked the options with that one, so I bought a small one for the 10 gallon tank I have. It has the ability to change colors and even has a 'Lightning Storm' setting (I only tested it because my fish freaked out lol). It has several functions that I don't use, but I could if I wanted to.
It is controlled by a phone app and it works perfectly. Highly recommended unit!

Good light. Good for growing low to medium light plants. Plug it in, program it and forget it. That is until the electric goes off and then you have to turn it back on with the app. This is my second one. I have had my first one for about a year with no problem, fingers crossed this one does the same.

Although I have read that in the event of a power outage this light has to be manually turned back on with the app (I will use the original light during vacations) overall this is an awesome light AND the small light works with the Fluva Sea 13.5 gallon top! Most would need to remove their original tank lid in order to use this light but it worked well in the place the old light was on my tank lid. Win!

Bought these before from a box store pet place and loved them! Not disappointed!! I am so happy that they were cheaper here and kick myself for not checking on Amazon first!! I love the app although it is a bit buggy acting like it won't connect, this is the brand problem not the seller!! Once you get it going it's smooth sailing! I love all the features, you can even make it use the sunrise, sunset and all day sunlight to make the fish think it's actual daytime. Lightning, overcast, moonlight... This light strip has it all!! Again, a bit buggy with the app but all in all a great product for price!
