Unlike the standard loppers with about 18" handles, these are quite powerful when you extend the handles and will snip some pretty big branches (maybe 2" ?)
But... they are NOT light. They are NOT easy to use, especially when extended. They become somewhat unwieldy, and you really gotta open the handles wide to get the blades open enough to snip something bigger than about 1/2". That's to be expected, I guess.
If you need to put some leverage on your loppers to snip something tuff, these are super! Great! Just not light and takes some effort to use them. Buy them if this is what you need!
