I absolutely love the large 5x magnifying glass. The handle is iasy to hold and I like that the light has a switch rather than a push button like my old one did. I often would wear the battery down by laying it down resting on the button without realizing it which would turn it on. This one has a switch so no more problems accidentally turning it on. This one takes 3 batteries and should last longer. The light is nice and bright and I can see tiny print without problems. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is that if you want to use the 10x lens, you have to switch the lenses out because there is only one handle. Luckily I don't really need the 10x lens but ended up paying for 2 when I really only need the one. I have to say though that I was so pleased with the 5x lens that I immediately ordered another one.
