A day or two in the frig - almost tastes like a brownie.

11/11/19 - So I used this mix again and made my other half a birthday cake, Chewbacca Cake with sugar free icing! I did order two making it $20.00 in just the batter alone to make a keto friendly birthday cake. Came out tasting great though I had to stash it in the frig in plastic for two days before I could decorate it.

9/30/19 - I'm going to give this 4 stars for excellent taste, moist, and other family members could not tell it was Keto. It does make a VERY small cake layer for $9.99. So I am taking away a star for the size compared to price. Honestly, I have a birthday coming up for my other half who is 100% keto and homemade recipes hadn't gone so well so was seeing what I could purchase. I would have to purchase 3 mixes to make his cake. :O

With a little help this is amazing and so much so, no one would know it's keto!

That said, I do doctor it up with: (bake it accordingly, meaning a wee bit longer)

1 tsp powdered espresso
1 tbls of dark unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp of chocolate and 1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbls of Torani sugar free chocolate sweetener (any brand/flavor in the vanilla/chocolate range would work)

OH YEAH! I made a keto chocolate cream cheese frosting and it took it over the top! So so good, I can't say enough about it. Why it took me so long to try the cake is beyond me. I've always used the brownies and the banana bread, but this is so much better!

I will say, I don't think it's uber keto. I don't think a lot of products that claim to be are actually keto, unless you're mainly eating meat haha. I think it's the fake kind of keto but for those of us who never eat sugar/honey/nadda, this is the bomb. In my life, I mainly do the Carnivore Diet 95% of the time as it suits me well, but when I want to gift myself a widdo treat, I love this brand and this cake has moved to the top of the heap... *swoonsville*.

I feel like there are too many steps involved and extra ingredients. What happened to just add water??? I haven't even used this product yet"¦..I will be looking for something easier to make perhaps something with "just add water". If anyone has any recommendations please share them

Made a keto cake for my girlfriend using this icing. Shoe liked it and I thought it was pretty good.

These brownies are very flavorful. I was hesitant since anything for a keto diet or low-carb diet is usually dry and crumbly. I was pleasantly surprised of the flavor, how easy it is to spread, and taste. After making these I ate one fresh from the oven. It was flavorful and did not crumble. They are wonderful chilled in the refrigerator. My husband ate one thinking it was a regular brownie. And when I told him it was actually a diet brownie he was very surprised. He stated it taste just like a regular brownie. I will be purchasing this again.
