This light is great. It has a remote that comes with it making it super convenient. Attached right to the back of the fish tank no problem and the light quality is excellent. Fishes are thriving.
Good Light, But You You'll Despise the Controls

Another review stated that the light will not come on with a timer, and this is incorrect. You can use this light with a third-party, regular light timer and this light will turn off and on, retaining the setting it was previously on.
The reason I got this light is because my prior light came in a kit and needed to have a button pushed to come on with a timer. This light fixed that problem for me.
I'd like to set the program using the remote, but it's far too cumbersome. You will not like the configuration process. Further, if the remote has the batteries replace, I believe you lose the config.
The light quality is far superior to the basic LEDs I had. Between the quality of the light, my basic needs that this light puts out, and the sale price I purchased at, it's worth it to me.
If this sounds like you, it'd be worth short-listing this one, but if you want to set up a more complex schedule, be prepared for some counter-intuitive, and often frustrating effort to set up.
**EDIT/UPDATE** After having this light running for a few days, I can say that it runs extremely cool despite my expectations. The unit has a fan which runs when certain modes are at 100%. The fan stops whirring around 70%, but even with the light at 100% brightness, the fan is consistent and quiet. It's almost as if it's unnecessary, but definitely nice to know it's there. Still recommend this light if what I describe fits your use case.

Good built item for the price. I've been using it for 5 months now. It may work on a 20 gallon but not recommended. It's good on a 10gallon nano reef.

I bought this because my Maxima clam settled at the tank bottom of 75 gallon aquarium and I can not increase the main light intensity for fear of burning my corals. Focused on the bottom with only channel 1 and 3 I am getting 180 Par (was 80) and I will be able to increase this much more. With all channels on 100% I measured over 320 Par with light about 6 inches above the water! I used an aluminum can taped around the led lens to focus to just over the clam at 18" depth. It is a bit ugly but completely hidden by my canopy. If this was your main lighting on a 75 gallon you would probably need 3 or 4 of these for coral growth.
