I have what I would call a conscientious engine light that mechanics keep telling me not to worry about - but this isn't my first car - so I got this tool to know - I have a fuel sensor & a TPMS that is probably telling me the indicated tire is a few lbs lower than recommended - my fuel â›½ï¸ might indicate that I have less but never indicates that I have more. I used this to read and clear codes in my 2007 car. It worked great - both reading the codes, and clearing them after I fixed the problem. I don't see any reason to buy a more expensive code reader - this gets the job done.

Pretty cheap and nice to have for reading a code. I bought this scanner on a whim, and I wanted to erase my TPMS light. This scanner didn't even pick up the TPMS, so I couldn't clear it. However, it was nice to be able to check the engine/transmission temperature after a long drive, since I've been having overheat issues. If you're a DIY mechanic, it's an affordable OBD scanner that gets the job done. I've seen on Youtube reviews that this scanner seems to have issues clearing codes but haven't tested it myself, since (fortunately) I have no engine codes.

I would give it 5 stars, but I only used it 3 times so far. It does give all the important information you would need and very easy to learn. Also pretty responsive and connects fast. Got all the codes I needed first try. Plus it's well built for the size/cost
