Good inverter but better customer service. I would try this inverter again.

I was highly skeptical of this based on price and not being a brand I have ever heard of. But this has worked extremely well so far. Used it in the cold and it was fine with low noise, though I was using it at under half load. Thinking of buying a second one for a different project.

I use this with a 200watt Renogy solar panel kit and a plain deep cycle battery. I charge power tool batteries with it and other odds and ends. I checked the voltage and it was 108volts AC at the outlets. I plugged a fan in it and it ran smooth without the hum that comes with a modified sine wave unit, so being pure sine wave is a big plus. The fan is a little loud but that's not an issue in my application. For the money it's well worth it to me.

So far, so good. The inverter provides clean power, and runs quietly. I like the display on the front that lets you know the voltage output and input, that is a nice feature on a value-priced product. I use it to power my small cabin, and it does the job well. Lights, TV, Internet, etc... no problem. It is currently wired to a 700AH battery bank, and when we move to the bigger house later this year, it will be wired to a slave bank in one of the outbuildings to power that, as we will be using a far larger one to power the new house. Overall, if you are looking for a good, inexpensive pure-sine inverter, You are looking in the right place.

I got this today. But when I took it out of the box, I immediately noticed something was rattling around inside it. Sounded like a screw or something, falling from one end of the case to the other. I put it back in the box, submitted a return request, and ordered another.

On the plus side, this thing is really compact. That was a big factor in my purchase, because it's destined for a fairly small place under the hood of my Ram truck. I use an inverter to provide AC to both my camper and my trailered boat, keeping the batteries in both charged and running the camper's fridge on AC instead of LP. I've been using a 750W Powerdrive for years, but wanted to upgrade to 1000W and pure sine wave. This unit is one of very few I was able to find that's small enough to work for me.

I'll update the review after I get the new one and put it into service.

Edit 6/25/22: Got the new one. It doesn't rattle. I installed in on my truck and tested it and all is well, it works perfect. The loads are happy to have a true sine wave, the modified sine wave from my previous inverter caused some buzzing from certain devices and those devices are now quiet. Upgrading to four stars. Will update if anything changes.
