The on line driver did not work. The driver that came with it was not working either. Installing on a Win 7 Pro platform. Not sure what I ended up doing, but I finally got it recognized and it has been working great since. Had to fiddle and diddle with it for Win 7 to see it (on a Gigabyte board) but it is OK now and I'm happy with all the ports .... except they're all full now and I'm back in the same boat I was in before.

As a person with many USB devices and not a lot on my custom built PC I was looking for a clean looking PCI express card that added more usb ports. Data transfer is fast. I'll have to update with speeds. It looks so good so long as you don't have usb plugs going to it on the inside. I would of loved to have this without USB ports on the inside. I was deciding on one of these and picked this to at least have 5 outside the case slots to use then just 4 on the other cards. This worked as soon as I loaded it up and others claimed the drivers cause issues so I stayed away from installing the drivers on the site. With my GPU installed in my ThermalTake 900 case I don't see this card the way I have the case on my desk when I sit in my chair. You won't be disappointed. I am The Hoff on YouTube and when I show off my setup you can see this card and all my USB devices this runs.
Works great out of the box with Windows 10 . No manual driver install needed.

This card worked great out of the box with no driver install needed under Windows 10 (version 1909) (as the included instruction booklet says it would). As other reviewers mentioned, attempting to install the supplied drivers just causes problems. Also, any drivers you get on a optical disc included in a package are likely to contain old drivers and software and latest versions should be download online (not that you need to in this case). I just powered down my system (unplugged the power cable as well), installed the card, powered my system back on. When Windows 10 booted back up I don't recall if I saw it mentioning that it installed the device, but I plugged a few USB drives into the card and Windows 10 saw them and brought up a notification that the drive was connected. I tested other ports as well and they all work fine. I also went into Device Manager and saw the USB card listed there as well. I installed this on my new ASUS TUF GAMING X570 WIFI motherboard system that I just built.
