I recently reviewed this item and gave it only one star for the simple fact that although they are very cool on our outdoor tree, the battery life was only lasting about a week on each as we were replacing them batteries all the time. I have been in contact with the company about this and they graciously refunded my my full amount. So, even though their product did not work for me, I would be willing to try them again to see if I just got a batch that got missed in quality control

These stay lit for abt 6hrs after dusk after a thorough INITIAL charge possibly 8 hours, then be sure to charge abt 4-6 hours daily. If no sun for a few days, will shine for alimited number of hours, 3 maybe. Also lights are bright as well as product offers an assorted selection from flashing slowly, steady brightness, flash rapidly, twinkle, etc, intermittently all together or individually. Good value for $$. Again be sure fully charged.
