I use this rack for two kayaks on a 2021 Audi Q5. It fits the stock roof rack cross bars, and it was easy to install, with no modifications necessary. I found it necessary to retighten the bolts holding the rack onto the cross bars after a few days. The rack is very adjustable, and it's great that the long portions can be laid flat, allowing my car to go into my garage with the racks installed (I always lock the latches when flat). I installed each rack so that the outer portions were even with the outer edge of the roof rack, giving ample room in the middle when carrying two kayaks. Mounting kayaks is simple; just angle the taller center portions towards the middle and lock, then lift the kayaks, bottom inward, onto the racks. The foam pieces on the racks keep the kayak very stable. I did not use the included straps and instead used two ratcheting straps, one each for the front and back, going from side to side. The kayaks ride very well and stably.
Like another user, I found that one of the latches was broken when I received it. The seller sent me a replacement, along with a spare, within a couple of days. I could not be more pleased. My only possible concern is how long the foam pads will last in the sun, but for the price, this is an excellent choice for carrying two kayaks.

It would have been helpful for the non-slip nuts to be in a bag instead of all together. It would help if there was a tool to tighten the nuts to the bolts.

I've had these on my cat for about two months. Finally got the kayaks in them and went down the road. You will need better straps than what they come with. I like the fact that they fold down, so they're not always sticking straight up. We've had a lot of rain here lately and I am noticing some rust from the fasteners and the tubes, which leads me to believe the finish is only in the outside of the tubing. But, for the price I am not disappointed. A friend has the Yakima kayak racks and his don't seem to be a whole lot heavier and at nearly 2 1/2 times the price. Like I said, so far so good. Time will tell. I'm sure if I take them off before winter and put them away, they'll be fine for several years to come. My kayaks ride quite well and sit almost perfectly in the cradles.

Bought these to haul a pair of kayaks on the car so I wouldn't have to take the truck every time. They were very to assemble and install, once installed it's very easy to flip the lever to fold them down so I don't have to take them off to pull in the garage. Holds kayak's very well.

The first weekend I owned this set of racks, I hauled my 10' kayak over 300 miles. I was incredibly pleased with how solidly they held the kayak.

The racks themselves are great quality -- better than I expected given the price. I was a little concerned that the included straps wouldn't hold tightly over time, but they were great. The kayak didn't budge an inch.

Getting two kayaks mounted is a little difficult, but that's mostly because my SUV is tall and I'm 5'10". I'm sure if I had another person helping me get them up there, it would have been much easier. I recommend putting the racks as far over to the either side of the car (rather than right in the middle.

Overall, great price & great product, and I highly recommend.
