I had noticed some hearing loss as I age, and wanted to protect my hearing as much as possible going forward. I tried foam plugs, but they never seemed to fit well. These over the ear muffs are incredible. They are comfortable, fit well and provide incredible noise reduction. I wish I had started using them sooner.

My husband is very sensitive to fireworks. I got him these headphones along with small ear plugs and they worked! We went to Disney for our honeymoon. We've gone to Disney in the past but always had to hide out inside rides/restaurants until the fireworks were over because of his sensitivity to fireworks. I use my DECIBEL DEFENSE Professional Safety Ear Muffs for noise protection when I am woodworking with power tools. The noise reduction is excellent. I have a large head so it is a snug fit but not uncomfortable at all. Very happy with my purchase.
Earpieces hard to adjust up and down

Noise suppression is good for my riding mower. The plastic earpiece slides don't inspire confidence, and they are difficult to adjust up and down. Also, I'm a normal sized dude, with what I think is a normal size head; however, I might have been able to go with the big head model. I'm 5'11", 170 lbs, and have a normal size noggin. I also wear a ball cap while working outdoors, so maybe that adds some extra head height. All in all, I'm satisfied. I never have any hearing distortion after mowing or weed eating. Don't tell anyone, but I also use this while making smoothies in my blender. The thing is just so darn loud. Side note: I wear glasses and these don't hurt at all after a 1-2 hour mowing session.
