The rice cooker works great, and the taste of the rice is better than my previous Zojirushi. However, there is a small drawback in the design of the cover. When you press the button to open the cover, it automatically opens, which is great. However, the elastic force is too strong and could cause the entire rice cooker to shake and move slightly.

Use mostly for short grain rice and mixed brown/white/glutinous rice. Works great for all! The pressure means you don't have to presoak the rice. Have also cooked sweet potatoes on pressure and worked great and really fast. Keeps rice hot for hours. Many more setting I haven't explored. Only knock would be a rather imprecise and limited recipe book/manual accompanies. Partly why I haven't really explored all settings. Highly recommend.
