Peddle assist in non variable so I thought I'd post a review with my fix. Let me start by saying This bike is great. And especially the price. I have knee issues do to 2 knee replacements and 2 revisions on the same before mentioned knees so it is vital to retaining and regaining motion to have peddle assist. The area I live in is very hilly so having to get on and off a bike every 50 feet was a obstacle in retaining motion. There are 2 ways to control the motor with peddle assist or with the throttle. my issue is with my stiffness in my knees it's not good when assist kicks in because it kicks in with all or nothing, propelling the bike forward faster than what I am able to peddle. You can't turn off the peddle assist without also turning off the throttle as well. I did however find a modification. I wanted to peddle at my own pace and beable to control how much help I get from the motor. My solution? I followed the wire from the peddle assist switch( behind the peddle gear on the right. It feeds into a wiring box below the battery. I just unscrewed the box and just unplugged this switch and closed the box back up. Because the motor is on the front wheel it's not connected with the chain or peddling mechanisms. So you can have the ignition switch on peddle all you want regular then controll how much pull or help you want with the throttle lever. The peddle assist kicks in with full power which is way too much sometimes. The peddle assist is just on and off not variable like the throttle switch is. I'm give 4 stars instead of 5 because it's a great bike but wouldn't recommend using the peddle assist because it's all or nothing. However the fix is easy.

Their support is really good. Got a new battery on time, as promised. I recommend this company and would use them again.

the instructions are a bit vague. ie; the LEDs for battery charge are on the handle bar, not the battery. there appear to be LEDs on the battery but they do not show the charge. there are parts included, such as the small metal spacers, but there is no where shown to put them. There is a bracket on the front but nothing appears to go on it.

Some sort if parts list would be nice to have so that I could buy spares.

It rides very nicely. We did buy a larger seat but that was our preference.

Trike met my expectations except for:
Compartment for battery is not large enough to accept battery. Had to remove track that battery slid onto and also grind off part of battery case to get it to fit.
Also owners manual leaves a lot to be desired.
Low quality seat, too small.
If you are mechanically inclined you can figure out how to assemble but don't count on instructions.
Bike has plenty of power and handles nice.

Unless you worked in a bike shop, like me for many years, then take to a good bike shop and let them curse it into submission...
Took me 2 hours to assemble, mostly b/c of unwrapping and fixing rear mainframe dropouts, that got bent- box clearly dropped on end. But I was in charge of assembling some 300+ bikes/ year at a big bike shop, so nothing I haven't seen before. Pretty well packed except for that hard drop that overcame the plastic spreader. I've seen a lot worse.
Wheel tension was good, front wheel needs truing, and you have to pay attention to cables when setting the handlebars and pay close attention to line up the arrows on all the electrical plugs.
Frame is bombproof, welds all good, and good finish.
I found rear wheel fender assys needed some bending of the tabs for the fenders- expected and easy for me to do. I use adjustable wrenches as bending tools. Sometimes two together, one on the other. Old bike shop tricks.
Test ride was most impressive- aired tyes to 65psi, and off to the mailbox, 300' away and slightly downhill. Turned and use motor only for uphill return. Zoomed right back. Love it. A little high centered, but manageable. Basket is a POS, so I will look for a nicer one.
I like it a lot. $999 was an ok price, b/c a conversion kit is $700 alone.

This bike is awesome. Smooth ride, the E motor provides enough power to get up small hills or inclines. Pedal assist is comfortable. If the key is switched on the pedal assist does come on when you pedal. However it's like having an easy gear. The throttle control could have been more efficient if it had been thumb controlled. Takes about 4 hours to recharge battery. I had mine put together by a bike shop so I can't review the assembly. This bike is awesome. I am a senior. 5'9 female. 26" bike is perfect. So glad I found this on Amazon. Great price. Now the bad. I have had to have chain replaced. It kept breaking. Chain guard flimsy. Rims bend easily. Viribus wanted what a new bike would cost for 1 wheel. The fenders on back if they come loose will grab the tires and stop the bike. I took them off.
