Good bike for money, had to replace tires immediately
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•September 23, 2023
Mixed feelings on this bike- it is super cool, works well and seems to be well made-and has some real electric power! It cruises! Tires it came with felt cheap and were replaced immediately. Didn't feel the tires matched the power the bike could do. Also have had problems with the motor under 500 hours of use but they corrected it. If you want to really power ride this bike every day you would need some upgrades. If you were just cruising gently around once and awhile it would be fine as is.
High Quality Bike Made for New Adventures

I purchased this last October for almost $500 over the current price. Clearly, there must be fierce e-bike competition which makes this bike a bargain for $899. What do I like? This is a solid bike. It can be heavy but it's very well made. LIKES: Once you figure out the control screen, things get easier. Also, the brakes are very responsive and well made. This bike stops on a dime. This past weekend, I went riding over gravel trails for two days at a state park. The tires grip the road- I was a little concerned initially because of the gravel but the bike maintained contact with the road the entire time. I'm 5-7 and the step over bike is great. One more thing, when you take the battery off, the bike weight is manageable- my wife and I were able to place it on our bike rack behind our car without any issues. The brakes activate a brake light under the seat. The throttle is also responsive and works great. Battery - especially with pedal assist last forever. DISLIKES: I found the manual and instructions for the LCD Display and controller to be confusing. My wife finally figured out that there was no pedal assist on Mode 6. The one positive of the LCD Display is the display is bright and is easy to read even in bright sunlight. The seat is terribly uncomfortable and I ended up with a seat rip in my first 20 miles and I only weigh 180lbs. Find a better quality seat - Giddy Up makes some great seats.
By the way, the paint quality is excellent - this bike is a looker and the green machine is a beauty. I probably overpaid for the bike - getting this high quality bike for under $1000 is a bargain - buy one!

Resolved issues.

Bad news, good news. When the bike arrived at our house, it stopped working during the first ride. We contacted the seller and explained the problem. He offered to replace the bike with a new one and even drove it to our house (we are not that far from his location). The replacement bike works well, and we are very pleased with the bike and especially the customer service and would recommend the bike and seller. We feel they were very responsive and were interested in making sure we were a satisfied customer. Well done.
Unexpectedly great quality bike; a good value at the price I paid.

Packaging is an extraordinary protection of contents and notable. Shipped coast to coast with no damage or bent fenders. Two important issues with quality: 1) disks for disk breaks seam far too thin and I expect they will bend or even warp with temperature and use in short time, and 2) derailleur and rear brake was not factory adjusted correctly - I could only shift through 4 gears out of the seven. Seller language and accent barrier was thick. Communication on anything beyond obvious statements were exceedingly difficult.
With all hub motor e-bikes, the torque bears on the spokes, so be sure to routinely check. These arrived just fine, but use and load from hills and/or weight WILL loosen spokes over time. There is no Class sticker on these bikes, if your state requires such. I am 5'7-1/2 to 5'8", and this bike is uncomfortably too high for me, but just marginally workable. I wobble considerably to get started, every time. I thought I could just replace seat post to drop it just one more inch, but the post diameter is far larger than those on the market. I'm looking for some kind of spacer, but it would have to be like a 1/4 thick (no standard insert or adapter will fit). Also, the step through is kind of high, so dress accordingly, lol. Assembly was easy enough for me to do; but I will need a bike shop to adjust the gear shifting and brakes - a cost I did not anticipate for a brand new bike.
Motor & battery work fine and as described. 500 watts is fine for flat roadways at the sea shore, and more than enough power for US speed limitation (20 mph). Stock, mine topped out at 17 mph by their GPS unit, and 16 mph by a second one for comparison. (they typically read about 1/2 - 1 mph different) And it makes the motor lighter than a 750 W which is max size for my state. One typical young male's power is about 250 W equivalent, and 745 Watts is equal to one HP. So you and the motor might have about one horse power combined, but for me it is less and still it is just fine. With a Cruiser bike, you are sitting more upright and will not have the peddle power of a road bike, but it is far more relaxing and I did not want to be bent over so much when riding - and the motor more than makes up for the peddle power difference. I expect to still be able to use the higher, harder to peddle gears with the motor, once I get the derailleur adjusted properly. I don't know if the suspension will help with the big bumps, but for the little, more constant bumps, it does little to nothing. I may go to the lowest recommended tire pressure and try that. There is a lever on the front shocks to fix the front forks or use the suspension. I don't think that is mentioned in the description. Also this frame is far more substantial than a regular bicycle, so a lot of aftermarket things might not fit. I just do not know if replacement parts will be an issue as parts do not seem to be standard sizes (if you can get parts from this seller, it may be the only source and who knows how long they will be around.
Frankly, I am far more stable on my old road bike, but until I get a suitable seat post, I will not claim the bike is unstable - I need a better fit before it is fair to judge, but my suspicions are up, lol. Notably, I told the seller I expected to have to somehow replace the seat post, and now I found out that is harder than it sounds, I read someone else's review that the seller has one. They sure did not inform me or offer one to me. Some people at 5'7" will have longer legs, and some will have longer torsos. Still, that one inch would have made a huge difference on comfort and stability!! (Stock seat post has a spring "suspension" that makes the seat about an inch higher than the frame, minimum).
Basically, the more precise and/or grammatically correct your English is, the more difficult communications are. A purchaser is forced to make assumptions about what the vendor means, instead of what is actually said. Assumptions mean everything communicated carries risk of many misunderstandings, so any problems are amplified, and personally, I found frustrating and unproductive.

Way more than expected

First off - the customer service from this company is exceptional. They communicated throughout the process to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted once I ordered the bike. They called to make sure I was getting the size, battery power, everything that I wanted. I received the bike several days earlier than promised - BECAUSE THEY DROVE IT TO ME! I live about 80 miles from the city they are located in..
the bike are amazing (I ordered 2). Well built, study. Lots of unexpected extras. I am about 6'2, 230lbs and this bike is comfortable and has no problem getting up hills, up to speed, and going for miles. I am VERY pleased with this purchase and would highly recommentld the bike and the company!
