Nice, but could be improved

I bought this to go over a portrait of my mom that hangs in a dark corner. While I like the light, I wish the neck could bend so it lit more of the painting. It was easy to install. The biggest problem is the remote - the buttons are tricky to press. You have to hit them JUST SO for them to work. As a woman with nails (not even very long ones) I needed a pencil to press the buttons with the eraser for it to work. I do like the timer and multiple features and it looks quite classy - I know my mom would feel very special.

I hung the light above a piece of DIY artwork (haven't framed it yet!), to give it some ambiance in the evening. I've only had the light for about a week, but so far I'm very happy with it. I ordered the color black. It was very easy to install and the remote offers multiple options, including LED light, incandescent light, 100% brightness, 50% brightness, a dimmer option, and a timer. So far, so good and I'm happy with the purchase. It's a nice alternative to hiring an electrician!
You need a little patience but it will be rewarded.

The light is near perfect for our intended purpose. It was well packed, arrived in good condition. The design needs very little improvement. A somewhat flexible neck would be an improvement to make it easier to control the reflections off the LEDs from the glass on framed items. The remote is small and simple; works very well and has decent range. Having to take the mounting box off the wall is simple though having to remove it to recharge is a nuisance. I think I'd like removable/rechargeable batteries better. Only issue was with the documentation. It seems to have written by a speaker of Mandarin who turned it over to someone speaking only Cantonese to translate and who then turned it over to a Japanese speaker to translate into English. Oh, and all involved would have had exceptionally good vision. I had to scan and enlarge the documents to make any use of them. Despite that the product is very nice and I love it.
