Haven't had a single issue yet. The fat can get tangled and stuck in the binding, as you grind but you can avoid that by making sure the meat you put in is as close to frozen as possible. Cleaning and assembly is very straightforward. You won't get a better one for less.

Although the directions for assembly leave something to be desired, this little meat grinder does a great job. I've only tested it on chicken breast so far, but I was happy with its performance.

I have nothing good to say about this product. Total waste of money. Very difficult to grind green peppers, cucumbers and onions. I don't think it would grind meat.

I know that sounds obvious, but after reading the negative comments, and experiencing problems myself, I've decided to write this review.
After putting the meat grinder together, and trying to grind some lamb , I just got a mess of meat that turned into a soft glop of mush that would not go through the knife grinding plate. I was not happy at all.
I was going to write a poor review, but then thought I must have done something wrong.
I went back and found that I installed the PAD Ring incorrectly. Yes it goes in from the front of the where the lock nut goes! Not from the back where the handle goes. This makes the knife and knife grinding plat make contact!
This little machine grinds amazingly well! The only real issue is that the crank handle is longer that the height of the machine, meaning you must mount it on something to raise it up so you can spin the handle. I guess the handle is that length to provide you with the leverage needed to mince the meat.

This does what it says. Just don't expect miracles.
I have used mine quite a few times and it did grind the product as advertised.
The base suction is not the greatest. Make sure your counter surface is VERY flat for best results.
Handle is ok but tends to walk out of the socket if you don't watch it.
Lastly it not easy to feed.
Summary:
I bought it with no grand expectations. I surpassed those and did the jobs i asked of it.
Be prepared for a tired arm if grinding a bit of meat. Its not a bad product just not great.
Good for small batch grinding and the newbie looking for a cheap entry level grinder.
My new electrical grinder showed me how much I was missing.
