One week into a two week camping trip, while we were on a mountain top, our converter decided to fail. We were able to keep things functioning during the day (with some problems) by running our our generator. but even if we charged the batteries directly from the generator, they drained almost immediately once the generator was disconnected. The converter was the culprit! We were unable to get a new one where we were, but I ordered this one from Amazon knowing it would arrive after we got home. It actually arrived four days earlier than expected. It was super easy to install and now our 5th wheel is running just like new! This is the same model as our original converter and we are very happy with it. The service was great! Thanks.

It was delivered yesterday and upon opening, I thought Amazon had made a mistake and sent the 9855 meant for Lead Acid since there were no sockets for the jumper wire. Then I noticed a sticker on the side that said "Auto Detect" Lead Acid or Lithium. The model number is 9855-AD, which must be a new replacement model. Before installing it in the RV, I connected it to my Li Battery and measured the voltage, 14.3 VDC. This is a BIG improvement since it can be a "plug and play" for any 12V battery you have. Very nice!
Havent realy tested it yet, (RV is plugged in) but it looks grate..
