My wife bought one of these earlier and absolutely loves it. She ordered 3 more so that she could have one in every room that she needs it in. It has a 30X magnification and 12 LED lights that can be turned on and off. The lights are very bright and will definitely illuminate an area. It takes 2 AA batteries, which will last a long time.

I am 76 years old. Blessed to be able to see but gets difficult with small print and bad lighting. This magnifying glass could be perfect. Perfect size; not too heavy; covers a large area and the lite is great. Plan to use it and feel strongly this will be a keeper. Hope this helps someone.

It is easy to hold with a large handle. I find the focus/depth of field to be a bit narrow. It needs to be held fairly close to the object you wish to look at. The light is adequate.
