Great product for the price! Have 3 running on our tank for close to a year. Had a part on one go out but was met with amazing customer service and a replacement for it. Works great for our LPS, soft corals, and anemone!

This light is well designed and well made for the price! If you just want something with controls to set and forget this may be the light for you but there are a few cons too.

Pros:
- excellent spectrum and color mixing, colors in my corals and fish look as good as expensive brand lights, and actually better than a lot I've seen

- there are six channels and they are a little different that the description, and are actually ideal: 1 - cool white, 2- blue / royal blue, 3 - even deeper blues, 4 -violet/UV, 5 - warm white, 6 - green

- time and programming is kept when the power is disconnected

- the menu and touch controls are very simple and easy to use, unlike some other Chinese black box fixtures (and some of the high end brands too) this one seems like a lot of thought went into the design

- dimmer mode which lets you override the current daylight/night timer setting and will keep the color setting in memory so you can quickly go back to it any time, or have it turn on in this mode from an external timer

- night mode which turns off all but the regular blue channel 2

- if your whites/green are set lower than blues, during sunset and sunrise the tank will be all blue for a few minutes, I personally like this for some may be a con

- because all of the LEDs are close together and under the same lens the colors blend well and disco affect is very minimal or not even visible at all depending on settings

- well designed open heat sink for very effective cooling and a quiet fan whose speed goes up with temperature. The fan doesn't even come on on my settings and runs at 30C (the menu shows temperature)

- the optic is excellent and it has a good even spread at the appropriate angle, I don't get too much spill outside of my tank

- plenty of cord and the cord disconnects about 3 feet from the light making it easy to remove if you need to

- stand is decent and allows two axis movement

Cons:
- when powered on it flashes all of the colors on high one at a time for a couple seconds, no matter what mode it's in when it's turned off

- as the light level changes for sunset and sunrise the color mix changes slightly. This is because you can set each color to 0 - 100% in 1% increments, but the dimming for sunset/sunrise is only in these same 1% increments and not finer, so as it changes some colors will go down a percent or go to zero while the other's are unchanged during that step. Of course this will all depend on how your colors are set and the length of the period, the bigger the difference between the channels the greater the effect (mine are at 5% whites/green 30% blues/violet and the effect is very noticeable)

- It's not water proof, there are no seals at all. If water is splashed it will get in and could get on the circuit board. They attempted to apply a conformal sealing on the circuit board but they were very sloppy and less than half of board was coated. DO NOT MOUNT WHERE IT WILL GET SPLASHED IT WILL GET RUINED QUICKLY

- there's a small flashing light on the outside that flashes continuously ever 2 seconds. There's an option to turn it on in the menu but it doesn't work

I can set it up after 10 min but it's not straight forward. I think I have it then next time resetting is another 10 min ordeal.
Had to add to mount to make it fit lip.
But for the price I'm happy it does it's job well other then those things.

I've grown anything from LPS to soft corals, as well as some SPS corals using these lights. They currently run two of my three tanks - heck, I'd have them on all of them if my third tank wasn't so small. For the price to performance, you really can't beat it. They've been incredibly reliable. I took a gamble when I got my first one years ago, but I'm so glad that I did - it's been 110% worth it.

The media could not be loaded. I wish they would have made the mounting bracket for a rimmed tank. I could cut off a piece of the rim but the screw holes are too high up to grab anything. Yes, I had to improvise and put them on my HOB refugium, but wanted more space between the 2 lights. The remote is glitchy (lags a bit) so I just used the panel. Once you set the other lights to slave it will synchronize with the master. If you are handy then you shouldn't have a problem snaking the wires through the tubes. Overall it is definitely worth getting. I love the upgraded aluminum tubing and quality of the lights. The fans are really quiet as well and cycle on and off. If the mounting bracket was better designed I would have given it 5 stars.
