I mostly use this to cook brown rice, and it comes out perfectly every time, unlike most other rice cookers. I follow the instructions in the product guide and soak the grains for several hours before cooking- I've never done this before but it adds to the flavor as the grains "germinate". Be forewarned, cooking brown rice takes about 1 hour. The design is attractive and modern- looks great on the counter.

I am Iranian, and my wife is Chinese. We have distinct preferences when it comes to eating rice. Chinese cuisine leans towards sticky rice, while Iranians prefer their rice to be well-grained and scorched at the bottom. That's why we opted for this rice cooker, allowing us to prepare rice in both styles. Since it is designed more for Asian cooking, it excels at making sticky rice using the quick and regular modes. However, crafting scorched rice takes approximately 1 hour. While it does a decent job, the rice tends to be a bit too sticky for the Iranian style, though this doesn't bother me personally.
In terms of cleaning, the pot is easy to clean, but reassembling the lid can be a bit challenging.
The touchscreen control buttons have a sleek appearance, but they are not as user-friendly as physical buttons. The captions are not easily readable from different angles, which might be a slight inconvenience for some, although it doesn't bother me much.
I do wish it had a dedicated power button. Currently, the only way to turn it off completely is to unplug it, which can be a bit cumbersome as it requires the use of both hands.
Despite these minor drawbacks, I am considering buying this rice cooker again mainly because of its scorched rice feature.

this is one of the best rice cookers i've got in my life! very easy and works great. the only thing i'd ask to change is for the light to not blink so much. either stay on or off. after the rice is done cooking it shows how long it's been in there, by the number of hours. and the number blinks every few seconds. a bit annoying, but the rice is good
