My wife loves this lopper

I was hesitant to buy the 30mm lopper, since I had never heard of the company Drago, and because I could see multiple clones of the same item available for sale on Amazon. But my wife is a fanatic about keeping the bushes and flowers trimmed in the yard, and it was Mother's Day, so"¦
When the box arrived my skepticism increased. Although the device had a nice solid heft to it when you hold it, the plastic parts are not particularly finished, and look a bit cheap. The Drago labeling on one side of the device was peeling off, and it appeared that at least one other label was completely missing. I was convinced that this was just one of the clones, distinguished only by the application of peel-off labels. So I encouraged my wife to give the lopper a serious work out, and if it worked poorly, we would be able to get a refund within the Amazon return window.
Today she took the lopper to a city park where she is a volunteer, and she and another volunteer in her seventies put the device to use on bushes and shrubs that needed attention. After a couple of hours, she came back an enthusiast, excited that she had cut almost one-inch branches with ease, and without the resultant hand pain always caused by squeezing hand-powered loppers.
Since I am now satisfied that we will not be returning this item, I just went ahead and ordered a replacement blade in the event that a new blade is not available when we might need it down the road.
I suspect that some of our friends will be buying this device as well, because of our pleasant experience with it.

I absolutely love the battery powered pruners!
They are not too heavy for my arthritic hands. It came with 2 batteries but I am very impressed with how long a battery lasts!! Battery charger included as was a few tools and a small bottle of oil to keep it oiled. You can't go wrong with this handy tool for your gardening!! Oh and hubby likes them as well!!

I want to say first this company is first rate and awesome customer service. I contacted them about a problem that I was having with the tool. I ask how much it would cost to repair it. The next response to me was we are going to send you a new dragro 1.6 diameter cordless pruning shear. I am very grateful. I have cut 1 and 1/4" branch that was dead and dry wow no problem. Also I feel more safe with this tool due to the touch safty prevention. Do not try this with your finger...I did touch the anvil on the side and it won't cut. It's like a sawstop table saw I I won't put my finger in the blade but I would try a hot dog. I would have given this a 10+ if I could.
