I'm a busy college student and I only cook for myself. This is literally perfect (the pink color just makes it even better). I usually cook 1/2 cup of DRY rice and add 1 cup of water. ATTENTION: KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR RICE OR IT WILL SPILL, if you see it start to over flow just open the lid slightly and you'll be fine! The rice came out great! I would recommend this to someone like me who only cooks for 1-2 people, my rice was done in like 20 minutes and it automatically popped up when it was ready but still please keep an eye on your rice. And remember to wash your rice lol

Cute and works great! This makes the perfect amount for 2 people for dinner + left overs. I love the compact size, just wish there was something for the cord to wrap around or something.

Used today for first time. Cooked 1 cup (using included measuring cup). The water markings on the inside of the pot are black on black, very difficult to see when trying to add water. I had to use a flashlight to barely make out the markings when adding the water. I used a measuring cup when adding water, turns out I used 1 cup of water to bring it to the 1 cup mark. Next time won't need to depend on the pot markings. Cooking time for 1 cup was about 20 minutes. When done, the pot was about 2/3 full, cooking 2 cups will probably overflow and make a mess as some reviewers indicated. 1 cup is about right for 2 people. If you're cooking for 4 you might want to consider the 6 cup size. The cooked rice was perfect. Unplugged the unit as soon as the warm light came on as some reviewers had indicated some burning at the bottom of the pot if left on warm too long.
