The one reason I bought this was to scan my abs system on my 99 Silverado. It will not even read the trucks ABS. Support works through sending emails with the actual tool. Response is slow and generic. Totally not helpful. It does work as it should with the rest of the trucks systems. Beware if you're attempting to scan/service gm 99-06 1500 abs you may be disappointed.
I've edited this because topdon has refunded me for the scanner not reading my particular truck. They tried everything to get it to work that they could do. The scanner still works in all other functions on my truck.

I've already been a fan of topdon, but adding this to my collection makes my shop flow so much easier. This tool is quick, accurate, and helps me perform many simple tasks without breaking out my full size scan tool.

Scanner looks great. Tried it on a few vehicles at work. They were fords. It was able to read a lot of data, which was nice. Tried to use it on my personal vehicle, which is a 13 chevy 2500. It immediately started acting weird. Brake light started flashing on the dash, It started constantly dinging, and all the sudden it said service traction control, stabilitrak, trailer brake. Did a scan of the vehicle and every module it could read had codes. They were all communication codes. All of the modules were not able to communicate with each other. Loads of CAN BUS problems. At first, I thought it was a BUS problem with my pickup. Had a 13 gmc 2500 at work and the exact same thing happened. So there is something wrong with the scanner. I sent multiple reports to topdon with the scanner. Waiting to hear back with a fix, hopefully. I also tried it on a 2003 chevy cavalier and same thing. Its almost like this thing infects vehicles with bad software. If they fix it, I will bump up the stars, but if you are reading this, I would maybe try a different scanner. I wish I would have.
Update. The seller got a hold of me. They tried to figure out what was going on with the scanner. I sent them a few reports and they came to the conclusion it was a bad scanner. Even though I was out of the warranty period, they still offered my money back or I could wait to see if they could create an update for it. They ended up sending me a new scanner and that one works like it should. I'm very glad to have a working scanner now.
