One of my feet refuses to slide easily into any shoe with a back, and the foam heel counters on my walking shoes invariably end up curled under and extremely uncomfortable. At home, I use a long-handled shoehorn. However, I can't bend far enough to use a standard shoe horn. This adjustable shoehorn takes a little study to learn how to use it efficiently. It's necessary to loosen a screw to unfold the horn and then extend the handle so it locks in place at the right length. The horn itself is a little big for what I need, but I'm sure is the right size for somebody taller and with bigger feet (I'm 5' tall and wear size 71/2 or 8 shoes). It has solved the problem of how to put on shoes away from home, so definitely worth the money.
