Excellent Home Gym

Love this Home Gym
I spent a lot of time reviewing options (and reviews) for what i wanted out of a home gym. I initially wanted a cable machine only, but having the option of the cable and smith machine, really swayed me to go for this particular one. It was similar pricing to the cable machines i was looking at but with more features.
Assembly was actually very easy, although time consuming on my own. Only minor issue i have had with the machine is that there was a small rubber o-ring at the end of the cable, which was getting pulled through the cable brace, when the brace was at the bottom of the machine. This was causing the cable to tug during the return movement. They have no real use, so i removed them and the machine works perfectly now.
Overall, excellent value for money and supplement it with a rope attachment and bench and you have everything you need for a well rounded solid home gym.

I purchased this as an upgrade from a regular power rack. The additional smith machine, pulleys and attachments helped raise my workouts to the next level.
It was tedious to put together but the written instructions along with YouTube made it easy to follow along.
I highly recommend this equipment based on the wide range of exercises/workouts you can perform without going to a gym.
Shipping was quick and it arrived in 5 boxes, depending on location you are placing the rack, consider having another person help you with the unboxing and placement of parts before assembly.
Overall very happy with this purchase and worth the investment.

This is a great gym. Yes, it is better as a 2-person job but I didn't have a 2nd person. It took me 8hrs. I'm a 5'3, 120 lb female, and I had to get creative on keeping it balanced while I put it together. Lol. I'm new to bodybuilding and absolutely love all the functionality to support my prep work and programs. I had only 1 small issue and customer service is very responsive. I did purchase a separate plate tree as I wanted the unit a little closer to the wall and need more clearance to access my bumper plates. So, I use the back hooks for other equipment like bands, grips, belts, etc. Really impressed overall!

I have only owned this exercise machine for a few months but so far I like everything about it. It is sturdy enough for home use and offers a multitude of different exercises for anyone looking to get back into shape or maintain their physique. I would recommend this product to any home user/novice looking to get more exercise to maintain better dexterity as you age in the hopes we can stay mobile without having to depend on others for as long as possible!

This review pertains to the Major Lutie SML09 Kit.
* Product was packed very well for shipment. I didn't have any dings, dents, or scratches. Be prepared for a small mountain of carboard/packing materials as others have stated.
* The directions for assembly were nowhere near as bad as I had expected after reading some reviews here. If you have ever built a moderate sized Lego kit, this is of similar difficulty. Perhaps the instructions were rewritten?
* The build quality is very good. The gym feels solid and sturdy, and will no doubt stand up to typical use.
I did hit one snag while assembling the gym. The seller had shipped two right side main pillar parts rather than a matching, mirrored right and left. I messaged customer service, and within twenty four hours, had a reply that the replacement was being shipped.
Overall, I am very pleased not only with the gym, but with the post-sale support I received. I would not hesitate to buy Major Lutie products in the future.
