They broke in easy. I've got about 50 miles on them. Very solid feel, good traction and the waterproofing seems good although I have not tested that hard. I have had Hi-Tecs from a while ago and I really like these. Very comfy and supportive. They are my daily wearers now. I wear them in the woods and I wear them to the mall. They just feel good.

Maybe I had not broken them in yet, but they seemed a tad small when I first wore them. I'm pretty sure they will loosen up with time. But they are narrow, so they're probably not for everybody. All in all, nice and light. And great for outdoor walking.
