The media could not be loaded. 4 stars because the instructions are awful, but once it's together the cage is great. The instructions partly tell you what to do, but with no detail and some steps are just missing in general. Since I was able to put everything together with no missing pieces, I'll still recommend to others. Just gotta use your brain. It's sturdy, I like that I can access the cage from the top or the front. I placed the lock up higher so that my hamster can't chew on it. I like that it came with gloves so you don't dirty the glass with fingerprints, but I wish the glass doors had some kind of handle because the suction cups just pop off.

I purchased this cage for my Short-Haired Syrian Hamster. I highly recommend, you definitely get what you pay for. Instructions are fairly easy to understand, and the video is helpful as well! Lots of space for my hamster, although she is a cage biter, and it causes lots of noise. If that is something that will bother, you I would not recommend.
Good cages for my mice

What I will say first is that I was panicking that my 3 mice would squeeze through the wire sides (they were definitely trying!), but after 5 days, they haven't escaped. Putting it together wasn't horrible, but definitely plan on it taking a minute. The gloves were super nice to have. The glass rattles a little if I do too much around the cage, and the doors don't slide super smooth. You just have to be gentle. I don't use the locking mechanism, I don't see the mice ever being strong enough to open the doors. I like having easy access for feeding/interacting using the glass doors, and just use the top opening for cleaning.
