Tool gets the job done & saves you money on force regens. You will need to update the firmware & scan the truck before it will allow you to push out any commands. I thought it was not working at first but once I scanned the truck, everything was working fine. Hope this helps out anyone that's interested.
Really great tool for the money!

I've been using this for maybe a couple weeks. It's nice to have found a diagnostic tool that is not expensive and does what it says. It reads all the codes, does DPF regens and you can view live data. Really harf to beat this for the value. Anyone doing truck diagnostics should get one!
Reliably did Regens on several brands of Class 8 trucks

I'm a Diesel Fleet Mechanic and bought this to play with it and see how it goes. I'll do a thorough review on My Youtube channel: The Middle Class Mechanic
What I like:
-It did start regens on the various trucks/engines I tried it on. (A26, DD13, D13, ISB 6.7, X15)
I only ever ran one regen to completion and it never gave a prompt or info about the regen, the truck just stopped regeneration and thats how I knew it was completed an hour and change later. I message would be nice at least.
-It's super small and easy to store. Included OBD2 for Volvo/Mack is essential and a good touch. It's so small, I've almost left it in trucks multiple times.
-DTC codes pop up quick and easy and in most cases can be cleared as well.
-Hooks right up to your cell phone. It is fairly easy to use and ties together nicely with the Diesel Laptops website for troubleshooting and other helpful things. (Some of those features also require a subscription.)
What I don't like:
-The live data doesn't seem to be very current. You almost need to back in and out of menus to see a change in temperatures or pressures. At one point I watched an exhaust temp not change at all for minutes, so thats not very useful.
-The data also has things like "11 state" or numbers and values that don't really explain what anything means.
-Some "live data" like pedal position sensor wouldn't function for me, or at least I think it won't, maybe user error. I could bring up all relevant data for brake pedal position and when I press the pedal, no live data changes, as it should. Again, maybe I wasn't looking in the right area? Seems off to me.
-You have to pay $30/month after your free trail ends.
The conclusion is that it's an easy and affordable way to regen your truck without having to spend thousands on a laptop and dealership programs or even worse a tow truck if you're a driver. I have little doubt that it wont regen anything it says it will. It's fine for reading and clearing codes, and that seems to be free. If you're a truck driver that just needs an emergency regen, I think this is a cost effective way to maybe avoid a tow truck or worse.

I was able to connect to a 2020 International and with in minutes I was able to scan over 200 items on the truck. After the scan was completed I was able to view inactive and active fault codes, live data, VIN information and much more. My favorite feature was the quick access to obtain repair information including fault code look up and wiring diagrams.
Overall the Diesel Decoder App is very easy to navigate as well.
