I never write reviews for Amazon products, but I was compelled to share how insanely amazing this is! I have a German shepherd golden retriever mix with a ton of fur and unfortunately, we took in a rescue cat that has ringworm and now me, the dog, and my three cats have it. It's imperative that I constantly clean up loose fur while the animals are being treated to prevent reinfection, so I went on the hunt really to deal w house fur but also his little doggy hammock we use in the backseat of the car (to protect my seats). It gets so covered w the fur and even washing and drying doesn't help. Enter this tool! Holy cow! It's like pure magic! I'm not sure if this will work after cleaning it "¦. I plan on soaking it in solution to disinfect and prevent spreading spores later, but even if it doesn't I play on buying another one. This should be in every household with pets!!!! I'm blown away!
Do yourself a favor and buy it. Life is so much easier.

I've had furry pets all my life; I love them but wish their fur would stay on them, which as anyone with such a pet knows, it does not. I have indoor rabbits, who molt (i.e. deposit their whole coat on my floor/clothes) twice a year and shed in-between. I have one dark grey and one light grey, and white fosters, so there is no color on which the fur goes unnoticed. I've tried every brand of sticker-sheet lint roller known to man, and on a given day would probably use 2-5 sheets esp. with my black shirt uniform. To make matters worse, my current two rabbits are petrified of the vacuum, meaning they hide in the closet the next 8 (not exaggerating) hours, and rabbits can die of fear so it ramps up my anxiety too. So, my floor became more fur than rug. I came across this device 8 months ago in search of "extra extra EXTRA sticky rollers" and there were too many good reviews to resist ordering it. It is AMAZING. Use short, quick strokes back and forth, and it grabs ALL the fur and lint. In the photos, the balls of fur came from only the section of carpet and the bed shown. To test, I've used this on sections of carpet and then gone over it with the vacuum and the vacuum grabs nothing. In fact, I often have to go over the carpet less times if I use this than using my Bissell. I use it on my bedroom rugs, fabric furniture, comforter, clothes laid out on my bed, clothes while I'm wearing them (this actually works better than trying to hold them laid out), the rabbits' bedding before I throw it in the wash...honestly sometimes I'll clean part of the carpet just for the satisfaction of seeing how much fur it picks up. I still have lint rollers around but it's nice to not be generating all that waste constantly, and it's more than paid for itself.
TLDR: It's a game-changer, just buy it.

This was recommended to me on Prime days, and I debated long and hard whether to get it. Seemed like a lot of money for just another gadget to remove cat hair, but the reviews were so positive that I decided to give it a try. All I can is that I'm thinking about buying more for all my family members who have pets. This thing is amazing! I went to the cats' favorite recliner, which no one wants to sit in because it is always so matted with cat hair, and started "chomping." Let me say that I vacuum this chair regularly using the pet hair attachment, and it takes me a good 10 minutes to get the chair serviceable, but I've never been able to get it all. Within 30 seconds of "chomping" I had the seat looking almost like new, and the roller was full. Popped it open, cleaned out the hair (so quick and easy!), started again. Took me less than 5 minutes to do the entire chair, including cleaning the roller 3 different times, and it even got down in the creases better than I expected - definitely better than the vacuum cleaner. This gadget now has a permanent home right by the front door so we can quickly clean cat hair off anything in the living room at any time (especially handy for unexpected guests). I will note that we own 2 cats, one short hair and one medium hair, so we don't have the same issues as long-haired cats, but I don't think short hair is any easier to clean than long hair, just not quite as obvious. If you are on the fence about this thing, go ahead and get it. It works so well that I would pay full price if I had to!
Better than expected!

I wasn't sure how well this would work. I just knew I was tired of using lent rollers that required removing a layer at a time as the roller accumulates hair. As soon as I received it, I went to work on my steps (we have a two story home). Our vacuum is too heavy to constantly cart up and down the steps and I wasn't willing to drop a pretty penny on a mini vacuum (I'm cheap, no shame). This turned out to be a great option. We have two cats and get our carpets cleaned 3-4 times a year. This will definitely come in handy in between cleanings. A couple of negatives: the design is a little bulky and doesn't work as well around the sides and edges of the steps. I had to use my fingers for that. There's a good bit of real estate that, with a better design, could be utilized to rectify this issue. Not sure if the creators will do such. Also, the button you press to empty it after using is not in a good place. I found myself naturally putting my thumb on that exact spot and accidently opening such and had to learn to move my thumb further forward to prevent it from happening. The button needs to be moved but I'm honestly not sure where else they could move it. After finish just our steps, I had enough fur to begin building an entirely new cat, LOL! Works great for fur but didn't do as well picking up pieces of carpet threads or smaller bits and pieces of things (miniature rocks, dry cat food, etc). Overall, I'm please with the purchase and hope it lasts for a while.
This thing is amazing and will save me over $150 a year on Sticky Rollers!

If it were a 10 point scale I'd give it a 9.
The description clearly mentions that it won't work on overly smooth surfaces like hard flooring or "no pile" office carpet, and that's correct, so don't expect that.
I use it nightly on a queen size bedspread before going to bed, because I have a Husky that occupies that space during the day. I would average ~4 sheets of the wide pet type 3M rolls nightly. Which adds up dollar-wise!
It takes a bit of getting used to compared to a sticky roller; you will exert a bit more energy and learning/getting a sense of how fast the pad fills up and then "reversing stroke" to clear that pad and work the other pad, but it becomes second nature.
My nitpicking of anything is that it's real easy to unlatch the chamber while using, and some concern about the lifespan of the pads without being able to replace them.
But even if it fails in 2 months, I've already broken even cost wise, so I'm going to give this a run!
