While we're in the streaming age, I find myself missing the extras that come with disc collections. Enter the Wbacon 5 in 1 External Blu-ray Drive, which allows me to view CD, DVD, and Blu-ray content on Mac, PC and even consoles.
The SD card slots make for an even more versatile unit, and also allows you to burn discs as well (be sure and obtain software in order to do so, as it's not included). I find the Wbacon 5 in 1 External Blu-ray Drive to be a good value for people like me who appreciate the ability to view the extra content on discs. Highly recommended.

I use a MacBook Air that does not have a cd/dvd player, so was very excited to find the 5 in 1 external BluRay player. It is a great product. To piggy back from what another reviewer said, at least if you are using a Mac, you will need to download a Blu-ray software. The best free one that I could find is the Leawo Blu-ray Player from the App Store.
The standard USB with the standard adapter did not work with my computer. The USB connector with the double ends and a unique adaptor type, however worked.
Now that I have the right software and adapter, this is the convenient gadget that I have needed for a long time for my Mac! While I am not the person who does a lot of file transfers, I can attest that the dvd player works and is a great value considering that the dvd software was free and convenient. I can recommend this product as it is easy to use once you get the hang of it.

I creat a lot of movies from vacations and love burning them to disk to watch later or give as gifts. This does NOT come with software. Although many features will work without the need of additional software, you will need something to play videos. Luckily a plethora of free options are available. The durability seams good compared to name brand burners I've used. Not very loud either. Works excellent and a great value.
