My eye doctor recommended this brand and dosage of omega 3. I suffer from dry eye. He said studies of this brand omega 3 indicated improved tears (production and composition) in patients who took this supplement daily for 12 weeks. Too early to tell if these improve my tears yet, but I know omega 3 is a good supplement to take and I like these because they don't cause fish burps like the cheap brands do (so I actually don't mind taking them regularly).

My doc recommended Nordic Naturals products to me. I've been taking the Vitamin D softgels for a few months now and started taking the Ultimate Omega softgels a few weeks ago. Most softgels make me feel sick or have unpleasant after effects like burping. Not so Nordic Naturals! I was very pleasantly surprised that even the Omega softgels have a nice citrus smell and cause no ill after effects. I'm definitely a fan and will be exploring their other supplements.

This is a great price....less than my local vendor (even when the 2x yr sale is on). And I LOVE the frustration-free packaging that is so easy to open and practically 100% recyclable. The only part not recyclable is small strip of plastic wrap holding the bottles in place. Note: the box the product comes in is a perfect size for reusing to store small items in my art closet:)

Fish oil has been great for me, I have been taking this one for several years now and do feel that it is helping reduce inflammation in my joints among many other things. Though I do occasionally have a bit of lemon aftertaste with these it's by no means unpleasant and most of the time goes unnoticed.
